There are two cathedrals in Armagh, both of which confusingly have the same name. The first St Patrick's Cathedral belongs to the Church of Ireland, and was built in 1268. One of the most interesting features is the celtic cross inside dating back to the 11th century. The second St Patrick's Cathedral is a Catholic place of worship. Work began on this in 1840 and it took 60 years to complete.
