One of the most interesting places to visit in Milton Keynes is the Bletchley Park Museum. It was here that the code breakers worked during World War II to break the German code machines. As well as finding out about the incredible work carried out here, you can also see Colossus, which is one of the first modern digital computers in the world.

The concrete cows are one of the most famous landmarks of Milton Keynes. They were built back in 1978 by Liz Leyh. In 1986 they were painted as Zebras and a few have been stolen over the years, although most were recovered.

If you visit the town with children then you might want to head to the nearby Bucks Goat Centre where you will find lots of different types of goats and other animals. You can play with them, feed them and find out more about the animals, and it is a great day out.

It also has one of the newest football teams in the country in MK Dons. It was founded in 2004 and plays in Football League One at the time of writing.

It is also the fastest-growing town in the UK, and in 20 years its population is expected to be bigger than Newcastle.
